
7:30am – Morning academic tutorial is offered every day for thirty minutes before school starts by all faculty members in their classroom.
7:45am to 8am – Students report to their first class and dorms are locked for the academic day.
8am to 3:05pm – Academic school day is in session.
Our 2024-2025 academic school day consists of a rotating schedule of six periods, two lunch periods, and a daily assembly.
8am to 3:05pm – Academic school day
11:35am to 12:05pm – First lunch is served.
12:25pm to 12:55pm – Second lunch is served.

7pm to 8:30pm – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
6:30pm to 8pm – Thursday will also include a deep cleaning of the dormitories
8:30pm to 9pm – Uniform preparation for the next day.
9pm to 9:45pm – Free time. This time is to be used for daily hygiene and for cleaning one’s room.
9:45pm to 9:50pm – CQ (Call to Quarters) is when all boarding students must report to their dorm rooms. Temperatures are taken by residential life staff.
10pm – Taps is the daily evening bugle call to end the day. Boarding students are required to fall out and stand at attention outside their dorm room until everyone is accounted for. Afterward, all boarding students must stay in their rooms for the remainder of the evening. Room lights should be turned off, however; boarding students may ask for additional time to study quietly at their desks with the desk light on. Each request is approved on a case-by-case basis.
Here is an example of a Weekday Schedule:
6:30am – Reveille is the daily morning bugle call to wake up.
6:50am – Breakfast is served.
Temperatures are taken by residential staff for all boarding students before entering the Mess Hall and starting the school day. We also stagger breakfast to promote social distancing.
6:50am – All boarding students that reside on the 3rd floor are to report to breakfast.
7:10am – All boarding students that reside on the 2nd floor are to report to breakfast.
7:15am to 7:30am – Laundry drop-off and pick-up are Monday and Thursday.

3:05pm to 4:45pm – Extracurriculars and athletics
Boarding students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as athletics, band, drill, the waterfront, intramurals, and the arts. Those who are not, are required to be out of the dormitories and be active outside, ie: jogging the track, playing basketball, etc.
5pm to 6pm – Dinner is served.
6pm to 6:45pm – Free time. This time is to be used for daily hygiene and for cleaning one’s room
7pm to 8:30pm – Weekday study hall
All boarding students are required to be back in the dormitory or in the designated mandatory study hall room.

Here is an example of a Weekend Schedule:
10am to 12pm– Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday.
10am to 12pm – Waterfront is open on Saturdays depending upon weather conditions.
5pm to 6pm – Dinner is served on Saturday and Sunday.
6pm – All boarding students must be back from liberty or leave on Sunday and begin preparing for the academic week by completing any unfinished homework, cleaning their room, and preparing their uniforms.
7pm – Sunday evening study hall
8:30pm to 9pm – Uniform preparation for the next day.
9pm to 9:45pm – Free time.
9:45pm to 9:50pm – CQ (Call to Quarters)
