A Place to Be Known, Challenged, and Inspired

Choosing a school is about more than academics—it’s about finding a place where your child will be known, challenged, and inspired. At Farragut, we welcome students from kindergarten through twelfth grade into a community that built on excellence, belonging, and tradition. Families are drawn to our rigorous academics, outstanding faculty, and extraordinary campus on the water—but they stay for the culture: one that blends warmth and joy with the values of self-discipline, responsibility, and service.

Farragut is a place where students grow into scholars and leaders who live with integrity and commitment. We invite you to discover for yourself what makes Admiral Farragut Academy a school unlike any other.

AFA Alumni TESTIMONIAL

As one who spent 6 years (7th through 12th) at this school and graduated at the #2 rank in the cadet battalion, I encourage parents to check into this for your kids. I was definitely on the wrong path in school and at home and while military boarding school was 9,000 miles from home, it was a bit of a rough start at first, but I came around and I am better for it in the long run.

What is the Admissions Process?

The admissions process begins with submitting an inquiry, touring the campus, and completing an online application.

Once the application and (non-refundable) fee have been submitted, one of our Admissions Associates will work with you and your child to complete and prep your file of paperwork for the Admissions Committee to review. Approximately 60% of applicants are offered a letter of acceptance.

Still the best possible move we could have made. Our daughter graduated as a Dive Master in Scuba and went to a great SEC college. We couldn't be happier. Our son is in Aviation and should have his license by his senior year. . . Farragut is a smaller school with a caring but firm faculty and staff and, for our situation, it's been great. Small class sizes and individualized attention were critical for their spongy brains to firm up and make good decisions..after a few poor ones. Your kids can shadow another student for the day and prepare for greatness... or at least have a really good conversation with kids that can 'Look Me In The Eye'!! Bravo AFA.
